One Day Novelli Academy - Food and Wine Appreciation

The day's course begins with the commonly accepted rules and traditions for matching wine with food.  Do we serve a Chablis, Dry Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc or champagne with shellfish?  We worry so much about choosing a wine to accompany the dishes we actually lose focus on the real point.  Drink what you like with what you want, simple.  This isn't always conventional but prompts for interesting discussion.

Within the course, terms such as weight, power, aroma and length and more are explained as you taste the prepared dishes with the selected wines.  This again comes down to personal preferences and what works for you.  These courses are always popular and lively to say the least. 

The menu is designed around the best of the season and is a balance of hands on and demonstrations providing you with the best ingredients for your appreciation as much as the wine.
