At the Academy Manju will demonstrate several authentic Indian dishes using a selection of spices such as cumin, coriander, garam masala, turmeric and chilli powder. She will be your guide while you cook and will dispel the myth that Indian cooking requires countless spices. As long as you have five to hand in your kitchen cupboard, you’re on your way to making mouthwatering meals within minutes.

Students will come away with a goody bag of spices so they can experiment at home. And the tutoring doesn’t end there… Manju is happy to hear from her students afterwards whenever they have a curry conundrum.

Students will cover how to

  • Grind whole spices
  • Cook a complete exotic and aromatic Indian meal
  • Prepare the perfect rice the no-fuss way
  • Make chutneys and relishes

Lunch and beverages included throughout the day.
