In November 2007 Jean-Christophe Novelli was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Bedfordshire for his services to the culinary industry over his 30 year career.
He is the first chef in the UK to be awarded this achievement and acknowledges his gratitude that the work he loves so passionately has been recognised in this way.
