Jean-Christophe teaches with the same unswerving instinct and flair he demonstrates for his craft, regardless of the experience and confidence of his students. Whatever Nathalie and I walked in with, we walked out with so much more.
The genuine warmth of the welcome set the tone for all that was to follow. It was clear that Jean-Christophe's students matter a great deal to him. He is, indeed, passionate about the whole affair - there really is no other word that quite describes the mixture of excitement and love. Excitment because the food is sure to set the senses alight and love because he never loses sight of the role of food in promoting the good health of those we cook for - our nearest and dearest!
